The purpose of this retreat is to allow LEAD Scholars to build a community, to network with peers prior to classes starting, and to begin enhancing your team building and leadership skills. We are offering two different sessions that you may choose from.

Early Move-in Date for on campus residents for REEL 1- Sunday, August 17 from 1-4pm; REEL 2 participants may move in Tuesday, August 19 from 1-4pm.

REEL Session One: Monday-Tuesday August 18-19, 2008 (if you are participating in sorority recruitment you MUST choose REEL 1)

REEL Session Two: August 20-21, 2008

Beach Day available for ALL REEL participants: Friday, August 22, 2008

Last year both retreats filled up quickly! We will also have a waiting list in the event that participants cancel. The final deadline to respond is Friday, August 1, 2008, however you may contact our office after this date to inquire if spaces are still available.

As you can see from the brief outline of the retreat, it will be a fun and educational opportunity. I look forward to meeting you at orientation this summer and hope that you will be participating in the REEL retreat.

Female participants : If you choose to participate in the REEL Retreat and Sorority Recruitment (August 18-23) you may only register for REEL 1.
