O-Team has been announced! According to the Orientation Services website,
"Orientation Team members serve as peer educators, peer advisors, group
facilitators, performers, resource persons, and role models to new freshmen,
their families, and transfer students. The O-Team is selected based on their
academic achievements and leadership skills." Eleven of the 32 selected
are LEAD Scholars:: Congratulations, O-Teamers! 11.16.04: Second-year LEAD Scholars Amber Hand and Megan Murphy were featured in an article in the Central Forida Future about a women's art show they arranged at Austin Coffee and Film in Winter Park this week as part of their LEAD Scholars Women's Studies Practicum. Very cool!
10.20.04: Five LEAD graduates are serving on the UCF Homecoming
Executive Board this year! Congratulations, ladies, and thanks for all your
hard work for UCF! 10.14.04: LEAD graduates Ashley Green, Renea Forde, Sarah Mendoza, and Kimberlie Saint-Louis are being announced as part of this year's group of select McNair Scholars. Congratulations, ladies. (LEAD Scholars made up 33% of this year's McNair class!) Spring 2004: 2004-2005 President's Leadership Council members have been announced. Congrats to these LEAD graduates:
December 2003: the 2004 O-Team has been selected! Congrats to the following LEAD Scholars:
4.24.03: LEAD graduate Tim Ford was commended in this article about his sportsmanship on the UCF baseball team. True Leadership! Fall 2002: LEAD graduate Tyler Fisher was named as UCF's first Rhodes Scholar. There's a whole host of articles on him available-- here's a good one from the Alumni Association.
